Best time to visit
Travel is possible throughout the year. Mid June to end August can be rainy and December to February are the chilly months with possible snow but visibility is very good.
 
Visa Requirements
A visa is required for travel to Bhutan. The visa is processed & arranged locally in Bhutan. Visas cannot be processed outside of Bhutan. Please note you should have a valid passport before you apply for the visa.
 
Flying Time
There is no direct flight to Paro. Flights can be taken from Delhi, Kathmandu, Calcutta (Kolkatta) or Bangkok. Paro is a short flight from Delhi (2 hrs via Kathmandu), Calcutta (40 mins), Kathmandu (50 mins) or Bangkok (3 hrs via Calcutta)
