10 luxurious epic size tents that echo of Mughal pavilions with cotton drapes separating sleeping, dressing and bathing sections. The bedroom area is fitted with a king size bed flanked by twin writing desks. The bathing area includes a shower, soaking tub and separate toilet. Tents come with air conditioning, a ceiling fan and a cooler chest for drinks to beat the heat.
Children are welcome. Cots are provided free of charge for infants. No baby sitting service available.
The library tent provides a range of books about the surrounding region, board games, novels and magazines, The excellent spa offers a diverse range of therapies and an incredible swimming pool to cool off. Dining tent serves delicious Indian cuisine and a range of Western dishes using local produce and vegetables and herbs from the camp’s organic vegetable garden.
Activities include twice-daily guided safari excursions in the Ranthambore National Park which is home to tigers, leopards, jungle cats, hyenas and sloth bears. It is important to point out that guests are not guaranteed a tiger sighting but chital deer, antelope and gazelle will almost certainly be spotted roaming the savannah whilst the lakes and waterholes are home to the Indian marsh crocodile. Bird life is abundant with over 350 species within the park.
