Bandhavgarh is a world famous national park famous for Tiger spotting. The core area of the park is around 105 square kilometers but there are several forest areas acting as a buffer zone making the full area close to 500 square kilometers. The dramatic landscape of the park is home to a dense Sal forest. The forest is brimming with exotic flora and fauna, an ancient 1,000-year old fort and a reclining statue of Lord Vishnu.
