Then you travel to the rolling hills of Munnar dotted with tea plantations. As you proceed with your holiday, be ready to spot the elephants and exotic wildlife at the Periyar Wildlife Reserve. There will be oppurtunity to witness local families work on spice plantations. Finally, you spend few idyllic days along the tranquil Keralan backwaters at Kumarakom followed by a beach stay in Kovalam to relax and watch the world drift by.
Fly to Cochin. We will work out the most effective routing for you.
Arrive Cochin and transfer to your hotel in your chauffered car. Later witness Kathakali dance performance- a traditional Keralan art form. First of two nights here.

Explore historic Cochin city with your private guide.
Drive to Munnar. Remainder of the day free for independent activities. Chauffer car at your disposal. First of two nights in Munnar.
Half day sightseeing with your private guide visiting local tea factory, nearby waterfalls and National Park. Opt for cycling or walking trips.
Drive to Periyar National Park. Afternoon free. Evening visit to the local spice market. First of two nights here.
Get closer to wilderness in the park by opting for an early morning jungle walk with local naturalist which lasts three hours. Later boat ride in Lake Periyar to witness wlidlife around.
Drive to Kumarakom. Rest of the day at leisure. First of two nights in Kumarakom.

Board houseboat to start your cruise along the tranquil Keralan backwaters as get a closer look at the local life. Overnight onboard houseboat.
Drive to Kovalam. Evening at leisure. First of three nights here.
