Last couple of days bring in the hustle, bustle and colours of Rajasthan at the city of Jaipur.

Drive to the blue city of Jodhpur. Afternoon at leisure.

A long drive to the desert city of Jaiselmer. Evening at leisure. First of two nights here.
Visit the imposing Jaiselmer Fort. Camel safari in the evening amist the dunes.
Take a guided tour of the museum,
palaces and halls in the Ahhichitaragarh Fort reveal a fascinating history and art heritage, having been expertly restored. Or opt for an excursion to Nagaur centre to sample crafts at local bazaar. Camel and horse riding possible.
Drive to Chattrasagar. Afternoon go for birdwatching tour. First of two nights in Nimaj.
Morning for local village visit and farm tour. Rest of the day at leisure.
Drive to Jaipur. Rest of the day at leisure

Neither of us had been to India before, but we were well taken care of, and learned and saw so much! In addition, I would particularly like to mention how very good Tilak was. We relied on him completely, he managed everything exceptionally well, and nothing was too much trouble. It cannot be easy dealing with a group of senior travellers (especially on the train!) but he made it all very easy for us. He was efficient, professional, resourceful, and kind. We could not have asked for more.
